Tiree is a small, unique and beautiful Scottish island at the southern end of the Inner Hebridean island chain. A sunny climate and white sand beaches facing every direction make Tiree a water sports paradise and the perfect place to run our surfing and kitesurfing school.

With good wind statistics and shallow bays to open wave beaches there is everything a kitesurfer could want, and when the wind does not blow empty surfing line-ups can be found on the west and south coasts.

A low- key surfers paradise, a place to disconnect from the rituals of daily life: your hardest choice will be what beach to head to for the day.

Blackhouse Watersports welcome beginner surfers of all ages to learn to surf in a beautiful and relaxed environment. We also have extensive experience working with intermediate and advanced surfers, helping them to develop their skills.

Our bespoke kitesurfing lessons and kitesurfing packages are led by Marti who has over 20 years experience teaching kitesurfing. Always patient and enthusiastic, Marti will help you to learn this mesmerising sport and show you why we believe Tiree is a world class kitesurf destination.
